There's a telephone in the hotel room, which is mostly used for communications; waking someone at a certain time, requesting something, or calling someone. Sometimes it reminds nostalgic memories; Some people have experiences of calling someone until they fall asleep and even forget to hang up the call and hold the phone while sleeping.
The device is full of tension. It could ring abruptly to alarm the user to know when to wake up, or to answer someone's call, especially for people who have anxiety in receiving or calling, it is one of the most uncomfortable devices even for its existence.
What if, the user just wants peaceful moments without any interactions with other people while they're in the hotel?
This device is a redesigned phone, which resembles the shape of a telephone, however, it has different functions to the traditional telephone. It produces ASMR sounds as Sleep Phone.
Users can play around with 9 different buttons and listen to the 9 ASMR sounds.
There are 9 different buttons which allocated with different ASMR sound files. The files are stored in the Adafruit audio board inside of the device and when each buttons are pressed once, it will play the ASMR sound until it ends.
It is an anti-sociable device but at the same time, users can thoroughly interact with it until they fall asleep without interruptions.
